winter prelude 15 XI - 11 XII 2018
"winter prelude” is a solo exhibition by American photographer, Keith Mendenhall, curated by the*kickplate*project.
The photographs presented in the show were taken with film cameras, including Polaroid and pinhole. Keith’s images, with their subtle colours and fluctuating light, capture the changing seasons and the atmosphere of spaces free of human presence.
Keith lives and works in East Hampton, New York.
You can find Keith’s work on his page and instagram.
“winter prelude” will run between the 15th of November and the 11th of December in 4 Broad Street, Abersychan, Torfaen, NP4 7BQ.
After the end of the show, Keith would like to donate the prints to the viewers, so if you’d like to have one of them, get in touch with us via email: thekickplateproject[at]gmail.com or visit us in the 76m2 gallery, 2 Portland Buildings, Commercial Street, Pontypool.
The exhibition has been organised thanks to the kind donations of our visitors.
A big thanks to Wayne Randell and family for letting us use their shop!
