Privacy Policy
We appreciate you taking the time to read the following privacy policy, and if once you’ve read it, you have any further questions regarding how we use your details please contact us using the email address at the bottom of this page. As a short introduction, the only details we (the*kickplate*project) keep are the email addresses and names of those who subscribe to our newsletter, or those who have subscribed in the past (legacy contacts), and artists and other organisations we have worked with. Types of information we keep and how we use it The new laws (GDPR) coming in to effect on the 25th of May mean we need to let you know what information we have about you, and how we use it. Most of your interactions with us won’t require you to give us any personal information, however we do keep the contact details of those considered to be “legacy contacts” (someone who’s signed up to the newsletter in the past. If this refers to you, you will have received an email recently from us regarding any changes you need or don’t need to make). And in those circumstances the only information we store are the contact details you submitted, which will include your email address and name. In future we will also only store your information if you: - Signed up to receive information from us about forthcoming events and activities. We will record your name (or the name you give us) and your email address when you sign up to our mailing list. - You have contacted us via email. Your email address may be stored in our contact lists or database. - If you’re an artist/organisation that we’ve worked with or exhibited, we may also need to keep any payment details you’ve shared with us as way of us paying you for your work. The above information will only be used if you have signed up to receive our newsletter, or we contact you to update you regarding the project. The newsletter will only contain information regarding our project and exhibitions we’re running at the time. We may also contact you regarding workshops or events at the gallery if you have expressed an interest in us doing so. Sharing your data and security We will not sell or share any personal details to third parties, unless legally required to do so. We take appropriate security measures to ensure that we keep your information secure, accurate and up to date, and that we only keep it for as long as is reasonable and necessary. Your rights regarding the information we keep and use You have the right to see what information we keep about you at any time, and all you need to do is contact us at thekickplateproject@gmail.com to request this information. You can also request that we delete any information that we keep, or unsubscribe from future updates/newsletters at any time. To do this, you can either reply to any newsletter you receive or email us at any time stating that you no longer wish to receive updates about the project. |
